Why I Do What I Do

My purpose as an artist is to offer a musical experience that will inspire and help us understand our aspirations. Through the music, it will revealed the inner feelings that words cannot express. Personally, this was first experienced at my very first live concert as an adolescent. There, I discovered my calling to music and knew my future was in helping others to connect in that same way. This is my life’s work.

I believe that the power of art and beauty has no limits and is as essential as the air we breathe.

about me

Daniel R. Gómez is a Peruvian guitarist based in Chicago. He received his Bachelor’s degree in guitar performance from Northeastern University. Later he pursued his Master’s degree in music from DePaul University. He graduated with distinction.

He is an active Performer/Music instructor in the Midwest area dividing his time between performing and teaching. He enjoys working as a soloist and/or in different formats such as duos, trios, full band, etc.
